for the future me

it feels worse not knowing when you can go, as opposed to knowing you'll be working till late. but the culture is such...ever-changing, too much unnecessary, overruled decision-making, confusing the floor as a whole. lucky i'm one to wait till the last minute. never knew that'll be how i survive. but still doesn't change the fact that i'll be working overtime...just a matter of how late...

well...as an extrapolation, it's kinda a sick comfort knowing i'll be going back late for at least the next three days...instead of it jumping on me when i'm all packed and ready to leave...the only regret is that it's the three days when all the bosses are not around and we're supposed to be throwing parties instead... :( did i mention i hate working when i am, and i hate not working when i'm not? *pouts*

on a much much much brighter note, i'll be getting my macbook this wk! *squeals while striking wishlist off with a forceful swipe* it is so important to have something to look forward to, at the end of each day, week, or even month...because once working life kicks in, the time left to yourself is so very precious...and especially so when something out of the norm happens! :)

i've never found sleeping a waste of time, and i never will. funny thing is, i can spend my weekends sleeping, but refuse to let the night end on a weekday. i guess i'm just a stubborn mule who wants to be able to choose when to sleep, and not be forced to...just as with all other things in my life. i hate being cornered >.<

alright, time to sleep early...so as to wake early. oh wait, i had a good aftn nap today so that might not be necessary :)
