when you finish your part fast and have to wait for other ppl for one wk..

when other ppl just take things for granted cos they are not the ones paying..

when ppl just happily shoot their mouth off cos they are not the ones doing the work..

when idiot-proof tasks can still go wrong..

when it's term break..

this whole day was just so wrong, i can't believe it just happened..a few more of today and i think i can just die on the spot of hbp..i can't take it..i really can't..i'm broke, i'm tired, and i don't see the point..

truth hurts

the phrase has been heavily used in the office these few wks..what with the bite of reality kicking in and worsening. frankly, i haven't felt anything like this since a long time. maybe a night's sleep can be a sedator..just like how it cures/sedates emo-ness..

i'll never be a boss..cos i've had too many unpleasant encounters with counting on ppl to do their job, but in the end it became mine cos it was so sloppy it would have been better off not done. it doubly sucks when there's a month left to the submission of fyp. ARGH.

and..this is one of the rare spur-of-the-moment posts. the same phrase on my msn, facebook and blog..

i think...i should start thinking...

this is a sudden thought i had, and i never thought i'd say this, but after seeing all the teenybopper celebrities and campus talent search shows over the years, i realised there can actually be so much to achieve before turning 20...but i haven't done any of it. up till now, i have no real dream. i just live my days doing what i should be doing, and not what i want to do. maybe i always had the misconception that it cannot be done..but in actual fact i just lacked the courage..

but in any case, i can't turn the clock back now. i am starting to think what i really want..not just for myself but for other ppl. it's easy to figure out what to do for yourself, but not what you can do for others. i think i need a bigger objective..something more general than what job i'm going to apply, which country i'm going to travel to next, or what i have to do for my fyp next.

it makes sense to agree that we regret not doing more than doing anything..but i guess there are some things that can't be tried out just with an excuse of wanting to know if or how it will work out. i guess...i'll stick to doing things that are black-and-white clear... (:

for fyp, this is one of the more intense and busy weeks of all...i'll just grit my teeth and finish it...and await another period of flurry...

and thanks to the global recession, us class of 2009 grads can all see each other in the public sector. wonderful!
