it all began on chu xi, when i was shopping aimlessly in raffles city. this bag from a push cart outside river island caught my eye and after haggling with the kind owner three times, i finally got it. i didn't think much of it, just that i liked its design.....until i went into charles & keith and saw its shiny-skinned twin hanging there. it then dawned on me that i'd bought an inspired designer bag! after some searching, i finally found it on the Francesco Biasia website.

i didn't have much thought abt designer-inspired/knockoff handbags..in fact i didn't mind them as long as they're not blatant ripoffs or replicas. this discussion is all so timely since my colleagues and i have been talking abt the Miu Miu Vitello Lux-inspired satchel bag (i LOVE this pink one!)

that everyone is carrying from Charles & Keith..and the different versions of the real ones with the Miu Miu brand that we keep seeing only recently..until i's hard to tell which is the real and not.

but anyway, i'm glad it's not as rampant. but i'd be smirking if i see anyone carrying the C&K version, since mine's prettier. and cheaper. and from korea! haha. and it's synthetic leather..no issues of animal cruelty here (:

something has changed me recently, and i don't know what it is. i've become more subtle and easygoing in all ways..personality, temper, food, perceptions... i don't get worked up as much, and as easily, and it's become easier for me to forget or just not bother with stuff that used to irk me to no end. i don't mind as many things as much, and i'm not as picky abt food as i was. i don't even shop as much.

i don't know if it's a good thing...taking things as they come as opposed to having a clearer goal. what abt having no fixed definitions of myself, as opposed to being remembered 10 years down the road for what i'm like now.

it's amazing..the burdens i managed to put down after so long.

maybe..what changed me was age.

and..i need a job!

what a bad day it was today, and when you think it can't get worse, it gets worse. how can ALL the events in a day NOT go right?? there was absolutely nothing i could look forward to. miserable pebs..
