e-learning wk this wk..hai..maybe if i'd known earlier i'd have deferred my stay by 1 wk? spend 1 more wkn at home..but nvm la..mugging more impt..

but that does not mean i will coop myself up in the room for a whole 3wks..that is suicide..i'll still go out during wkns..this kinda living den can be considered hostel life wat..means i've been living a fake hostel experience all this while?? -_- anyhow..it's a new experience! kinda looking forward to and dreading it at the same time..if u know what i mean.. :S

bam found a job at ST even before he ord!! i had both the :D and -_- faces to the news..i mean..really lor..it's good news but still quite kua zhang..it's like ordering your food already even before you reach the canteen -_- and the pay is !!! $1.6k!! wahlao! still go be relief teacher for wat?? think all the ST perm staff can go bang the wall liao..or protest..go on strike..

zzz..and the mrt suicides saga continues..another person just ended his life under an MRT train..and the worst thing is i was THERE in both incidents!! for the chinese garden one, I WAS ON THE TRAIN INVOLVED! and for tdy, i was one train ahead of the involved one. wahlao! can they stop traumatising me?? now whenever train stop i will panic..see gantry closed i know gone liao..i dun want to get used to SMRT refunding my trip la! I REALLY DUN MIND PAYING FOR MY TRIP!! just stop the foolish acts! wth..nobody should even have the concept of mrt suicide for money..machiam getting insurance from the public..

hai..i know it's a sad thing to be driven to such desperate ends..and that the large amt of donation from the public was not meant to drive home the wrong msg that dying is a practical solution..cos just like we cannot prevent the existence of poverty in any society, it is also not wrong to chip in to an act of generosity.

but, maybe after this second death, it is high time that public education be on red alert. or maybe this is already a rather delayed reaction. maybe, after the first death, action should have been taken, other than channel u talk shows and changing mrt announcements to emphasize that we should all stand behind the yellow lines..cos a desperate person cannot interpret mass communication messages anymore..to him, he IS standing behind the yellow line..it is the interpersonal communication that should really hit the nail..

sigh..and harold innis thought social changes are brought abt by technological ones..in singapore, all it takes is extreme desperation from a single man..

heehee..what did i do on mid-autumn festival? haha..no lanterns..no mooncake..no pomelo..but got..SPARKLERS!! 3 for $2..and the picture below show how we used it..



the sparkles created quite a nice halo and brushes effect sia..hehe..and the bottleneck melted cos we tried to shove the sparkler into the bottle..but it threatened to distinguish cos not enough oxygen..-_- tried in vain to make formations with the sparklers..in the end..we finished 3 boxes in abt..15mins..sigh! the price to pay for a bit of fun..hehe.
