den we went ard annex..looked at accessories..clothes..AND WE TOOK NEOPRINTS!! woohoo! i can't rmb when was the last time i took neoprints..the closest encounter, though, was when i took a hp photo in a neoprint booth with xinhui..hahaha..that was so guailan..

these larger versions were photoshopped..haha..u can imagine how bored i was..photoshopping neoprints..haha..and that's not all..i photoshopped the photoshopped version..hahaha..so it's double photoshopping..kewl huh..

oh well..no big deal. but..nice?? haha. hmm..zhanie put in alotof effort in dressing up wor..haha..lacy tank under a lacy and translucent layer, tying her hair to the side, with hair clips, TIARA HAIR COMB, AND OVERSIZED SHADES FROM KOREA XIA! haha, except the shades seem to look differently on her..and she had to protect her tiara from shifting on her hair..haha.

then..we went to beads etc! one of my favourite shops in the world..except they have dropped in their bead collection and quality now. all not nice already. grr. that reminds me..still have a bagful of materials waiting for me..haha..but no beads how to make rite..sigh..beads etc at heeren really falls way below acceptable aesthetic standards! rah. the beads there are common, plain, boring and just as pricey i should assume. :(

was reading cherie's blog..and i'm so proud to have a sis like her! i mean, always has been..haha..just exceptionally so now. stay strong girl..i love what you said abt the staying apart stuff.. (: looking forward to our june shopping trips wor..this might not make sense..but i'm missing you more these days.. :/ prob cos of the constant reminders u put everywhere abt your leaving! *grunt* luckily it's just for a year..till then it's only me and shin and a bunch of jie/mei fu's..boohoo..so boring! oops..unlikely that any of them will read this but there's THE chance..and it's not without any truth anyway.. :p hehe.

sigh, pms is an evil thing. it sends me doing things that i will usually slap someone for. like, having unreasonable thoughts and actions. at times like these i really feel like a schizophrenic..i know i'm being a bitch..and that it's not me..but i just can't control myself..sigh. is it just me? or does everyone have their pms times? it's scary..cos i never used to have pms! growing up IS scary! is it abt being 20 agn? groan. grunt grunt.

keep gg to the lib recently. and i muz say i love PLAYING WITH THE LIFT! wahaha..it's damn exciting! and damn cheap thrill! cos it goes up and down so fast it sends your heart reeeeeeling! haha..well..what to do..it's probably the fastest lift in the country accessible by the public. so go play it!

anyway, i was there to borrow books (duh) cos my hols are too empty! besides gg out, which incurs cost, and watching shows in my lappie and from bam's hard drive, and sleeping, and looking for jobs, i'm basically not doing anything else. so i need to READ. i love to read. i got this book called 'the lilac bus' by Maeve BINCHY (ad!! rmb this author?? or in any case, if binch reads this, i hope you get excited!) ! it's abt this 7 regular passengers of the bus, whose inner lives are unknown to the rest. i love this kinda stories. one grp from our half of cs108 ppl did a video on sthg like that, called closed doors..meaning ppl have much to hide abt their lives behind closed doors. hmm..in my opinion..best is their lives are interlinked, but they don't know. (: bittersweet, in a sense. kinda like jimmy's walk left walk right..but twisted.

and i got a comic too..called 'it must be nice to be little'. doesn't it alr sound so sweet from the title?? aww..haha..and i found 'buttnaked baby blues' too! so CUTE!

ok. time to unveil the ugly side of nlb. they are so cocked up! apparently their returning system misses out books sometimes. but they are returned alr wad..so how? how to prove sthg tt's not in your possession anymore? must wait till the next person borrow it then it's registered as returned? or worse, they're such blockheads like Final Cut Express that they just DON'T. like, keeping the status as 'lost' or 'overdue' even though the book is borrowed by other ppl! maybe even a few rounds alr!

and i'm abit pissed seeing my song transfer from my lappie to my phone takes TWO HOURS BY CABLE! cos BOTH my bluetooth adapters are spoilt. and on a related note, BOTH my flashdrives are lost. how suay can i get?! now BOTH my phones can't receive songs from my comp! wth!

tsk tsk tsk. many times i'm quite speechless at ppl's mentality. it's so unbelievable that by doing nothing, something can occur. and without an action, a reaction develops. are you like, a crazy person, like V?

was just clearing up my favourites/bookmarks, and i realised quite a few of my marked links are not there anymore. how fickle and short-lived, the new age is! and with incomprehensive or even useless names for example 'Stories', '23 September', or even 'Untitled' (!!!), i can't even recall what the website was once. so webmasters!! pls rmb to name your sites effectively! of cos, you can say i shd have named my bookmarks properly..but that's not the root of the problem. ahem. anyway, quoting the overused line 'change is the only constant', i marvel deeply at the dogged determination of ppl who cherish intangible (but probable!) affairs..and even bringing certain treaties to their graves, long after the signatures have faded. these ppl are a mark of respect in our ever-changing world today. let's give them a round of applause.

i was thinking to myself one day, i must rank pretty high up on the honour roll of indifference. i certainly exude that kind of impression, and i generally care less abt stuff than ppl do. but then agn, do indifferent ppl even realise they're indifferent?

i would have taken a photo of me wearing them, but i will only do it after i get hold of my cam. which is not in my hse. heehee! at least zhanie says it looks nice! but whether it was under my influence or not, i dunno. chuckles. yayy! so excited.

there are ALOT of things to look forward to tmr!

1. i'm gna apply for my uob debit card tmr! hopefully can get the mini card. if not den i'll settle for the campus card. hee. yay!

2. gna play pool and go for movie with xinhui, alicia and jingshi tmr! whee! loving pool! i wanna master it!

3. BAM BOOKS OUT! vesak day rocks! *whoopies around*

4. wearing my birki's all around tmr!!!! the biggest highlight of the dayyy!

haha..getting wayyy too high around here. think rj bears the brunt of it. she has been at the receiving end of my hurrays the whole day long. but one should always spread their happiness rite!

and uh..i seem to be losing my ability of staying angry at bam for long..no matter for what. dunno whether it's good though. lucky for you bam! *pats back HARD*

27th april
bam is back at midnight! woo! earlier than everyone else but still with a whole flight of guys nevertheless. which means, quite hard to spot. ack. anyway, he bought lotsa stuff (esp for me!)! hehe..as we happily hopped on the cab at like 2:30am to go back home, i was so tired i could have dozed off. (but i didn't.)anyway, while searching for keys at his doorstep, which normally takes a good 15mins, we discovered that the liquid soap in the luggage had burst open! lol! the liquid soap that was together with the pineapple tarts, clothes, sleeping bag and A 200GB HARD DISK. but kudos to individual packaging (of the tarts), and many many ziploc bags. my poor luggage bag though. and sleeping bag.

apart from the dfs galleria buys, bam bought food, soft toys, a remote-controlled model plane, a skirt and a LE COQ SPORTIF BAG!! ahhh! i dun think anyone on earth has NOT wanted it yet. kewl. though, of cos, perhaps millions alr have it. now i'll make it millions and one! soooo excited when i saw it! still excited now of cos!

after a mad nite, i was so poofed i think i probably slept till noon..which is the heat of nomination day! nothing much..watched the news and then headed for funan! to redeem the camcorder. yay..had much fun playing with it..

28th april
went to bugis..sim lim..to buy mini sd card for the camcorder..and bam's new phone..and ipaq. boo. i think i'll never be excited in sim lim..unless..maybe they do the much-needed spruce-up abit..urgh.

after that we went to meet up with xinhui! who had just finished her paper and come all the way down to cut hair. wahaha. bam went off for tuition after that.

haircut at chapter 2 was..nothing special. bleah. i bet it was sthg zhane would call a-haircut-at-jean-yip. that ordinary. hmm, after our newwww hair we decided to go take neoprints! but we eventually didn't..cos we cannot afford a $10-a-b5-sized-piece of sticker. so..we took a hp photo in the neoprint booth! dumb but..heck. haha.

it was DA DAY! no, not because i sat opposite i not stupid too/home run star i-dunno-what-his name-is, the one who's NOT joshua ang, and neither is it cos i rubbed shoulders with kelly poon, but because it's the da4 jie2 ju2 for the nail-biting li nanxing-huang biren show! mi2 yun2 20 tian1..and..once agn i dunno the english name. (diaryland sucks for the first time! for not enabling chinese) poor xinhui was dragged along by her bridge frens to sit thru that one hr, and the discussion after that..where her fren called me to ask what happened from 9 to 9:30..hahaha damn funny. seems like ppl hook themselves onto serials only during exam period.

29th april
1st day of chalet! everyone was quite upset by the lack of everything ever needed in a family chalet. like a stove, a wok and well, more ice. AND A BBQ PIT THAT SHD BE INCL IN THE RENTAL, COS IT'S NOT! rah. tdy is supposed to be maternal side + friends day, but it turned out that everyone showed up! man..it was chaotic for a moment. to the extent that porridge was mixed with rice. :S anyway, was glad abt the overwhelming turnout (well, somewhat..), and special thanks to BAM for everything..from helping out to helping to entertain.. (: and of cos to ALL MY FRIENDS (or otherwise, lol..how would i know) WHO TURNED UP! big hugs for you all sweeties! true enough, your presence beats the best presents! :D

30th april
other than mac's breakfast, it was snooze fest till abt 5..where another day of bbq begins! i love my family! cos everyone turned up! for my bday celebration! it's like cny all over agn..so heartwarming.. (: the most unforgettable bday i shd say..poor bam though..muz have been terrified by the number of uncles and aunties..haha. left the chalet around 8 to walk around and find things to do..went to downtown east..shopped around..toured around the arcade..and finally settled at the pool place..where we queued for abt..an hr? haha. but it was worth it la..haven't played or watched pool in a long while..and we got a 9ft!

hehe..played for around an hr..cos it was closing down..and then met cherie and her reindeer theodore, to go parkway and play some more pool! and SO I CROSSED OVER TO MY BDAY ON THE CAB! haha, a most unexpected place to crossover..anyway, as always,

yay! it's da day..and where did i go? balam road. haha. but no regrets. had a most fulfilling bday dinner. hee.

hmm..this yr passed kinda fast eh? still rmb everything abt last yr..totally doesn't seem like one yr already. but anyway, 20 now! sure doesn't fit it..but most certainly feel like it. esp when the bones creak and the muscles ache! haha ok i'm joking..but starting to feel old already..walking takes more effort, sleeping takes up more time (or is it the hols?), and uh..growing fat at all the wrong places. adulthood sucks..maybe i'm glad that somethings happened, and somethings did not..but i know i'm glad things turned out the way they did..and how they are now. ppl change, i change. but it's all for the better, i can be sure. i hope the big two O is something to look forward to, but year two definitely isn't.. :/

2nd may
it's daisy day at cathay cineleisure with htg! such a sweet show! as usual..i cried a little for dying jeon ji hyun..but tt's the trend nowadays. lol. and before that, my expertise came into play when i fitted bam's screen protector onto his precious.

went heerens where we shopped for a hp pouch, and then i got a little little waist pouch for bam on the sly, haha. to complete the bad boy image. and to shirk THE nike sling bag.

went home to get ready to make bam's ingenious-and-unique-once-in-a-lifetime-20th-birthday-present! woohoo..

3rd may
woke up early to meet bam and pass him stuff..then went to meet cherie and her reindeer for a one-time job as a tour guide! haha..to home team academy policemen/women-to-be's! they're quite friendly..and so so disciplined! hurhur. some of them acty bothered to make small talk with a supposedly-sec-3-lookalike me! :( some quite sweet la..haha. typical simple army guys. hee.and then we met up with bam and shin for M:i:III!!! *theme tune kicks in* hehe..had carl's jr for dinner..yum! i love, surprise surprise, their fish 'n chips! wahaha. anyway, M:i:III was goooood. but not great, cos NO ONE KNOWS WHAT'S THE RABBIT'S FOOT TILL NOW, and..and Maggie Q wasn't given enough screen time! grr. and tom cruise just doesn't seem as yummy anymore. weird.

a walk past esplanade..and then it's home abound!

4th may
and it arrives! whee. almost couldn't finish it on time..met bam on his way after tuition to his hse..and only revealed the present after reaching home and plugging in the power! it's a happy bday message formed with christmas lights! :D with 8 different sequences of lights, nevertheless! quite a sight, and a masterpiece, i must say! ooh the torrent of events calls for many many pictures..i will take note..

5th may
went to jec! for a supposed rash decision to go ice-skating. which proved its point. cos we backed out like turtles in their head when we saw the figure skaters alr in the rink. a definite no-no. thus, it was kbox, the next best alternative. poor bam, being led to the smallest box he has ever been in. me? i had worse experience in parkway. shrugs. anyway, kbox serves nice mee siam! never would have expected it, really. but no egg..grr. only some tau kua and fish cakes. tastes like non-spicy laksa with bee hoon in fact.

had some (un)worthy camera and video moments when singing songs..urgh don't remind me..

then went back bam's home..where we went to fly his model plane and played some 2-person soccer! quite fun..the soccer i mean..the plane was quite a failure..sad to say. oh well..i'm just glad bam found the soccer fun too! and that i was quite a sport. (: and he never fails to teach some valuable soccer skills..hehe..

watched whose line is it anyway..and totally laughed like nobody's business..damn funny can..i'm finally starting to appreciate it..

6th may
happy voting day! what with the crowd out and no one working, and where did we go? TAMPINES. the horror of the east. now that i don't work there, i kinda hate it. it's SO CROWDED FOR NO GOOD REASON! argh. lousy metro, lousy isetan, lousy cinemas, ONE taxi stand, no clothes, no vacancies at eateries, and the damn crowd at lifts and escalators! shoo! go to marina! go to town! go to JP! where i'm still fascinated despite the countless trips there in the past 9 months. seriously! at least JP has new things popping up once in a while. like it's having its 11th bday bash..urgh ok more specifically tm and century gets on my nerves. i'm fine with the rest of tampines. goodness..

well, after ranting so much, i realised i haven't really touched on where we went. trotted to nokia shop and haagen daz's at the same time. nokia shop snubbed us, so fine, we had our birthday ice cream (since we didn't have cakes) just outside it. pricey, but heavenly. :D

went home for dinner, then went to bam's hse..watch a lil comedy, then turned on the telly for the election results..quite expected, though disappointed. but it's ok, the margins are not altogether impossible..some were close..jia you!

7th may
so fast..bam's leave is up lo..booking in..we only met up at abt 5pm..cos bam had sthg up. so..just had dinner, packed his bag, and off we go..'twas a brief day.. (:
