ok..i stopped at the day where i finished reading HBP. the next day, which is wednesday, was spent mostly watching stuff..well..again. i can't seem to finish watching them, haha. i figured i'd need to sleep more and wakeup as late as possible since i'd be working 6-2. so i tried to take a nap..which is just fitful rest.

so the time comes to make my way to noodle house! without the evil shoes this time. i was abit later than told..but i am actually ridiculously early. lisa said i should reach around 5:30 cos i need to collect the tee to change and setup the place and everything. so i arrived at around 5:40, which is later than told..but ken-san wasn't there yet..and he's supposed to give me the tee! argh. so the aftn chefs started to chat with me to relieve my boredom..and it slowly evolved to a topic abt keeping spare tyres (extra boyfriends) in times of emergency, or even in peace! haha, he tried to convince me to buy his theory abt the practicality of spare tyres. good thing he's not in my shift! he went home soon after that. anyway, it's quite tough trying to learn all the japanese names on the menu like, within a few hours. but slowly learn i guess. they have spirited away! the movie, i mean. i wished i could stand there and watch though. standing is a big problem. i wasn't sure of exactly when and where i can sit..ya..so i kinda stood for 5 hours straight? that largely explains my fatigue. and the major blunders were failing to take down the delivery address (cos i didn't know it was a delivery order), and for slamming the tables when i kept them..but hey..they're really heavy! ya..in summary i was quite blur and pebblesy..which means i wasn't sure of what to do most of the time. okay..that's thursday.

yesterday morning ..went to wendy's office to let her have a look at a completed questionnaire (u know, my first job)..yup..and i made this crazy move to take 608 home..from robinson road. like wow, that's twice the time. and fare too, i think. it's a really nice ride. literally a ride down memory lane. all the places it passes by strings the memories..places i used to haunt in sec sch, jc and post-jc..obviously robinson road is where i worked..then it goes to lau pa sat, where htg used to have afew gatherings..then it passes by esplanade and vch, where all the concerts i attended and performed were held..then it's suntec, another htg lao di fang..then kallang theatre and national stadium, the dhs days..it goes down mountbatten road, where a turn would show dhs..and down katong, where i sometimes pass by to go home..parkway and ecp, where dear and i used to go..upper east coast road and woo mon chew road, hosting the occasional aftn pigging out sessions at gelare..and finally tj. it's quite fun acty..taking a bus u've never taken before and recalling all the stuff that happened all these years..like a memory lane/route. maybe everyone should try to find their own memory bus too..u know..a bus that passes by all the major limelights of your life..haha..abit dramatic to put it this way but yea..let's just say i'm glad i took that bus home..

so today i wokeup at the time i'm supposed to reach cs AND meet cuiying. at the cs busstop. how susan-mayer! (ok not really..since trouble always finds susan. but just an analogy.) luckily it's all solved cos i called and asked to attend the 2nd session. and how coincidental, cuiying wokeup late as well! by a good 1.5 hours! yay so attended the briefing, did afew trouble-pointing-out..since it wasn't exactly troubleshooting..still figuring out the how-to. oh i forgot to mention. this is my third job! exciting rite. as a surveyor, once agn! i hope i turn out patient, and understanding, and not to "take it personally", "it" being mean stuff that mean people say as a result of their intrinsic nature, not on purpose. well OBVIOUSLY if they DIDN'T MEAN IT we won't take it personally. la. -yulu style- (sorry, i just love her bitchiness to bits.)

oops, digressed..we were dismissed one hour early..yay! had a late lunch/early dinner at can A mac..with shuwan and chinchin..and i can confidently say the teppanyaki burger is nice! wow, such a long time since a quality burger appeared. a minor point here..they try to cheat ppl agn! dun take the green tea..cos it's $0.30 more than the normal coke/sprite (might be more in outside macs)..ya..unless u happen to acty..u know..LIKE green tea. ok..look..neutral words used..no discrimination against ppl who like green tea! ntu mac has no mayonnaise! and that pisses me off.

so after dinch (lunner?) we walked back to their room to pick up some stuff before going home. and that resulted in a good 2 hours of conversation!

took the bus and train back with shuwan..had a nice time chatting agn.. (:

bought seventeen at bedok mrt..for no good reason..then stopped by this fashion where i found this really good buy. haha. i think i might be into a little lace lately? it might have something to do with the shoes i bought. the evil, vain shoes. "wicked." - fred and george weasley. i can't wait man! really!
