tips to make you keep coming back

what do you do when your (non-existant) readership goes down, like in the case of mine? or rather, there is readership but they're all anonymous. i dunno which i prefer but ANYWAY!! here are a few readership-saving tips, from myself to myself.

1. blog more regularly. people tend to check back more often if they're sure the blog's pretty much updated. regular readers can look forward to new entertainment everyday while sneaking a break during project time and not so regular ones can well, look forward to alotof new stuff when they DO check, in an attempt to you know, "know how you're doing".

2. blog less vaguely. quite a frustrating experience to read a whole entry and have the nagging thought at the back of the mind about whether the whole bitching was about you. reduce self-censorship! go private if you're afraid of offending somebody. or better, offend them if you must. i mean, blogging's all about being able to support your stand, ain't it?

3. have a YEEEE-HAH!! revamp. to put yourself to the layout challenge as well as provide positive externalities to the world wide web. if it's that good, people might even consider pirating it! that's quite cool.

4. well, think before you blog. there is a reason why your blog's valueless, mysteriously along with other diaryland blogs. it's not worth a read if it's only about yourself, yourself and yourself. try adding in some serious food for thought.

cool! pre-exam spontaneity, yet agn. happens EVERY YEAR.
