I'M BACK FROM CAMP! i must say WOW man..really. Sixth Kingdom's really a challenge..my og Oreads apparently is the most on one..till the end stil got more than 10 ppl..so cool rite..so many quitters in the other OGs..but nvm..everyone has their own commitments..acty i oso quite regret staying till the end..sacrificing many things for the camp..sigh..i dunno if it was worth it or not..nvm..let's recall what happened!

monday!
of cos it was the usual ice breakers..then we were blindfolded and introduced to our secret pals..which wasn't a very successful move la..since the blindfolds are quite transparent and we can oso look underneath and observe wad footwear our SPs wearing -___- ..but anw..my sp's a m'sian..yup..diff culture i guess..no comments..not much interaction oso..the snr who led us there was oso a m'sian..so the conv was quite erm..to say the least..heavily accented..yea..
after sp was some mind challenging game..where 6ppl in a grp play agst the opponent grp..trying to pair the items we have in our box..aiya quite hard to describe..guess you had to be there..
after that was Oreads' nemesis..hai3 dai4!! BIG SIGH..we're really failures at hai dai..gosh..all the snrs were quite appalled i think..haha..whatever..
after that they taught us one mass dance and couple dance..weird dance moves i muz say..really damn weird..not a very seh dance la..but nvm..
after dinner was some trust game..where everyone except the first and last in the line is blindfolded and supposed to go thru a series of obstacles..ya..quite fun..
then it was the memory game..similar to jacky wu's 300seconds game..but not quite..is muz match the pairs like a normal memory game..cept the board turns..
then it was the hexogon game..tantamount to a giant board game..like wizards chess...only the chess pieces are ppl..anw i think it's some recreational game in the hall la..
after that we're given some tasks to do and at the end we muz get a bunch of keys to rescue our snr in charge [sic] from one of the rooms in the hall..ya then go to sports and recreational centre [src] to complete a puzzle..
this shd be the wee hrs of the morning alr..but we stil gotta complete painting our banner..which we did at abt 3:15pm..so slept at abt 3:45pm on monday

tuesday!
morning we had to play some water gun game la..where the aim is not to let the front of our tee get coloured by the opponent's water guns..but halfway had to stop cos raining..so somehow chg to play zhong ji mi ma to decide winner..forgot who won..shd be my grp..haha..
after that is the mud slope! oops..er..not really..more like a soap slope leading to a mud patch..at the hall 6 pond there la..really damn fun! like snow city..only it's chged to soap instead of snow..and then when we get down we've to help cushion our teammates' fall..when everyone's down we've to use a human ladder to get everyone up..which we failed..so we used a rope..but will have less points la..overall quite diff to get everyone up..and many suffered knee and elbow abrasions from the canvas sheet..

as obviously as it gets, the above narration was done when i was still fresh back from camp..with the memories vivid in my mind..but now, more things have happened and i shall just mention the impt ones..dates i forgot alr..

fright night. haha, super memorable. muz really give a big round of applause to the snrs who really acted so damn well..and the plot, the characters, the route, props, tasks we had to complete..were just excellent la. it sure requires detailed planning man..nothing to say. yup..seen the campus in a different way..since it's in the dead of the night and we were led to many unknown corners of the engine blocks..ya..haha.just loved the fright night..

world record for most number of blind dates. quite a dumb activity..but i found a guy that's my direct tj snr! same class, but 2yrs older..haha..my blind date was quite gentlemanly la..though like the typical guy..was checking out girls with his fren perpetually..sigh..but whatever..

sports day. played a number of sports wor..only rmb frisbee though, dunno why. oh got rockclimbing too. ya..that's all i can recall..

photo hunt. ran all around school with photos as clues..ya..basically a chance to get to know the whole campus better..tiring..but still ok..

amazing race. ran all over town, city hall and bugis. and ended up at ecp, where we spent the night and met our sp. not for me though, my sp wasn't able to make it so i was paired up with a snr. ya back to the point. quite a gd thing that we went to places i was familiar with..yup.

special night. unforgettable. hall 6 tradition i guess..but ya..no comments. anyway, all the guys will follow the guy snrs and same with the girls..ya..and both camps are not supposed to know what the other camp did. yup..just another bonding activity la..to train us to be able to support and help each other in times of crisis..yea..

master dinner. everyone had to look for a snr date to dine with at beboz..a restaurant owned by a former six-ian, located at ms. yup. nice food, nice decor, good price..yup..definitely recommended for dates and parties.. (:

initiation. 7pm to 7:30am. leh!! a process of becoming a true sixian. or six-ian. if that will help understanding better. shagged until nothing can express. with the passing of each activity we sense some hope in the night ending and we can go clean up and die on the bed. but no. more activities follow every activity..and we're just numb to everything..even getting a dubious pail of liquid poured on us when we're in the drain..until the snrs find it no fun to zheng3 us alr..haha..which is in turn good i guess. initiation was nothing but cold la. cos we were covered in mud the whole freaking night. gosh. shivered and chattered like shit. sigh. but it was a good experience..everything. watching the videos helped alot. realised we bonded quite abit..but how long it will last i dunno..

anyway, i'm at home on a sunday night cos i got locked out of my room and my roomie's only gg back tmr morning. yup. i'm dying to have my laptop la! argh. anyway, back to blogging abt hall.

pageant preview at rouge. hmm, clubbing for the second time in my life..didn't bop along with everyone though, only drank..towards the end our grp went out to some place to eat..owned by a very unfriendly boss..who served my snr disgusting-looking chinchow. gosh. i didn't finish my 3-scoop walls ice cream which cost $2 too. there was transport back to hall, woohoo! where everyone just konked out and slept..zzz..

broadway in six. a performance put up by the different blocks..where we compete for the best song, dance, skit and mascot..my group won best mascot and song..haha..i seriously owe them for sharing the hampers, cos i like, went down to find out what they're putting up just half an hour before it? haha. quite surprised acty..maybe they think our items were spectecular. :/ after that freshies and snrs got to know each other better..and the initial recruitment of block reps started..quite a tiring night too..

one night stand. which is just an outing to jurong east followed by supper at geylang. some went iceskating, some went kbox..it's obvious which one i went. anyway, not very worth it..cos we didn't get to sing for long before we had to move off to geylang. but nevertheless, initial recruitment for acapella and talentime started..

geylang. had some food..initially wanted durian oso..but some ppl scared of the smell..so tt idea didn't work out..the most memorable part of the night muz be when we walked down lor 8 i think..to check out the women..like how a typical red light district looked like..hmm..had much thought after the walk..

jcrc. stands for junior common room committee. who basically runs the hall. if it were u, wld u want to be part of it? factors to consider wld be time management, commitments, and performance..ain't it? performance in studies and during the term in office. i was quite shocked to be approached la, seriously..cos i never thought of what i'd say if i would one day get approached..yup..so i agreed den thought abt it..and i realised i should not join them with a mentality other than to serve the hall. i realised i was thinking more of myself and the ppl i've to give time to..and that there're probably ppl out there who're more willing to give up things that i can't..so the position is more suitable for them.. (:

dnd. yesterday at le meridien. mindblowing man, the costumes. theme was metamorphosis..and we're supposed to wear what we're not..the snrs really super on..it's them that keeps the hall happening..and pageant was held there too..new hall king and queen born! (: zech and jiewei. both of whom were hot favourites at the very beginning. yeaaa..

after so many events..i realised the feeling of being a freshie is so nice..just like everytime i see sec sch or jc ppl i envy them for how young they are..and now since i stay in hall..most of my time is spent in campus..it's like an enclosed world altogether..and it's good to be the youngest in your own world..feel so taken care of..so protected..and uncompetitive..just feels good la..shall enjoy it while i can..
