i think...i should start thinking...this is a sudden thought i had, and i never thought i'd say this, but after seeing all the teenybopper celebrities and campus talent search shows over the years, i realised there can actually be so much to achieve before turning 20...but i haven't done any of it. up till now, i have no real dream. i just live my days doing what i should be doing, and not what i want to do. maybe i always had the misconception that it cannot be done..but in actual fact i just lacked the courage.. but in any case, i can't turn the clock back now. i am starting to think what i really want..not just for myself but for other ppl. it's easy to figure out what to do for yourself, but not what you can do for others. i think i need a bigger objective..something more general than what job i'm going to apply, which country i'm going to travel to next, or what i have to do for my fyp next. it makes sense to agree that we regret not doing more than doing anything..but i guess there are some things that can't be tried out just with an excuse of wanting to know if or how it will work out. i guess...i'll stick to doing things that are black-and-white clear... (: for fyp, this is one of the more intense and busy weeks of all...i'll just grit my teeth and finish it...and await another period of flurry... and thanks to the global recession, us class of 2009 grads can all see each other in the public sector. wonderful! |
